19 Aug - Result: Whitkirk Allowed To Wander
The first team threw away three points earlier tonight with sloppy play which allowed Whitkirk to come from two goals down to earn a draw in the last two minutes. The match started with a red card for a head butt on Nick Murphy which reduced Whitkirk to 10 men just two minutes into the match. This didn't phase Whitkirk, however, as they struck about half way through the first half. Paul Eagling levelled matters on 42 minutes with a header on a fantastic Danny Webster cross. There was more controversy early in the second half as Nick Murphy was brought down when he was last man and through on goal but Whitkirk did not receive a second red card. Nick Murphy put 'Bridge in the lead on 60 minutes before doubling the lead on 70 minutes. Then with only injury time left in the match, 'Bridge fell apart and allowed Whitkirk to score, firstly from a deflected free kick and then with a free header from a corner to snatch a point.
