PANNAL SPORTS RES 0 BOROUGHBRIDGE RES 0
Regardless of having the better of the chances Bridge came up against a resolute home team and in the end had to be satisfied with a point. By and large they had control of the midfield with the pace of Ollie Bone and Liam Bannard a constant threat but they could not find a way past keeper Graham Summers and on the two occasions Paul Scaife and Bannard managed to beat him defenders Steve Jackson and Tom Carr came to his rescue with goal line clearances. Summers also dealt superbly with a Richard Donohoe header from a Bone corner and in the last minute Scaife clever back heel was denied by another goal line clearance. Stand in keeper Chris Chapman was rarely troubled by the home side and Chris Wood gave another solid performance at the heart of the Bridge defence.
