BOROUGHBRIDGE ‘A’ 1 HARLOW HILL RES 4
Without a recognized keeper for the second week running Manager Chris Chapman was again forced to don the gloves and was beaten after two minutes when a Chris Story free kick was not cleared and first team striker Danny Marsh volleyed in the opener. Bridge reacted well to the setback and on seventeen minutes Paul Scaife bagged the equalizer but without a first team fixture Harlow had taken the opportunity to reinforce their ranks and they went back in front through Chris Silverwood twelve minutes before the break. Prospect of a home comeback were quickly dashed when Johnny Hewison added the third within five minutes of the resumption and despite Bridge creating a few opportunities Hewison had the last word when he added his second to give the visitors a comfortable victory.
